Transferring a patient to a specialty or consultant

You can transfer any inpatient to a consultant on your mobile. Nervecentre records the time that a patient is transferred.

You can't transfer a patient to a specialty on your mobile.

1. From your patient list, select the patient you want to transfer.

2. From the top of the screen, select the patient's demographics.

3. From Transfer Options?, select Transfer Consultant.

4. Select a consultant.

From the patient banner, you can transfer any inpatient to a consultant. Nervecentre records the time that a patient is transferred.

You can't transfer a patient to a specialty from the patient banner.

1. Select  Inpatients > Patient List > double-click on a patient's name > Patient Detail.

2. From Patient Detail, select Ward / Bed > Transfer Consultant.

3. Select a consultant.

From Patient admin, you can transfer any inpatient to a specialty or consultant. Nervecentre records the time that a patient is transferred. If the patient was transferred earlier, you can set the time and date manually.

1. Select  Inpatients > Patient List > double-click on a patient's name > Patient Detail.

2. From Patient Detail > Patient admin, select Transfer.

3. Select a specialty or consultant.

4. If the patient was transferred earlier, set the transfer date and time.
